Congratulations on your pregnancy -  a very special time for all involved.  We aim to make this experience supported,  safe and rewarding for you and your family.

We like to see you early in the pregnancy.  Dr Gartlan will explain and discuss monitoring and testing available.

An ultrasound will be performed at all visits with your consent.  A detailed ultrasound scan will be arranged at 18-20 weeks gestation.

Should there be any medical issues during your care,  management is based on the the latest Australian and International Obstetric guidelines.

Dr Gartlan delivers at the Hobart Private Hospital and Calvary Hospital.

He also participates in antenatal shared care in conjunction with the Royal Hobart Hospital.
